Season Summary - 2008

Following the hugely successful 2007 season winning seven out of ten games, this year was quite disappointing. We won only two matches and narrowly avoided relegation. On a positive note however, we welcome some very promising new players; Chris Adams, Dai Jessop, Ashok Rao, Vignesh Kannan and Vikas Kashyap and also encourage the junior players; Mark Cohen and Vishnu Shastri to join us again next year.

Having captained the side for the last three years and succeeding in building a squad on the verge of collapse, I have decided to stand down now to make way for new blood to hopefully take the side to a higher standard. My thanks to all those who helped out this season.

Ashok Rao: 2XI player of the year. 4 for 22 off 7 against Frampton Cotterell, 49 and 41 against YMCA and 42 against Bitton, 4 for 76 of 13 against St George
