JUNIORS2009 FIXTURES AND MATCH REPORTSUnder 17 | Under 15 | Under 13A | Under 13B | Under 11 | Under 9 Welcome to the Junior Section Well, the all-too-short Junior season has now finished, fittingly in a match played mostly in drizzle! We have experienced the usual spells of poor weather (and rearranged games!) and very mixed results and also the phenomenon of some teams doing very well in one match and much less well in the next. Congratulations to the Under 11 team who have won the BYCL Dave McCarthy Cup and to the Under 13B team who won the Final of the Bristol Section of the MCC Spirit of Cricket Cup. Most of the players in these two teams will still be in the Under 13's next year which augurs well for 2010. With the Under 11's being (Joint) League Champions last year and the Under 13's winning the Frank Benner Cup in 2006, that makes four trophies in four years - THE JUNIORS ARE ON A ROLL!!!! A special vote of thanks is due to all the Team Managers for all that they do to make the season so successful and enjoyable and also to Parents who help with coaching and support at matches. Coaching Outdoor coaching at Coombe Dingle has now finished for the season. The Club is always on the lookout for parents to help with coaching or with scoring or umpiring; if you can help even in a small way, please contact your child's Team Manager now!
